Before You Arrive
To ensure a smooth experience, all participants must arrive at least 30 minutes before the scheduled start time to allow for registration and racewear fitting, in accordance with AR Kartz policies.
Age & Height Requirements
Cadet Karts (Ages 8+) – Minimum height of 125cm. Adult Karts (Ages 14+) - Minimum height of 150cm. All drivers under 16 years old must be signed in by an adult (18+). Any under-16 participant without a responsible adult present will not be permitted to race. The maximum weight limit for karting is 115kg, adhering to our safety requirements.
What to Wear
Footwear: Soft, closed-toe shoes are required—trainers are ideal. Sandals, crocs, heels, or wedges are not allowed as per karting rules. Racewear: Sanitised race suits, helmets, and gloves are provided in various sizes. Balaclavas: Wearing a balaclava is mandatory. You can purchase a reusable cotton balaclava on-site for £3.00, or bring your own.
Using Your Own Gear
Helmets: Only full-face helmets with a clear visor meeting ISO safety standards are permitted. Our staff will check all personal helmets to ensure compliance with AR Kartz policies. Racewear: If you have ISO-standard racewear, you may use it, subject to approval by our track staff. Motorcycle leathers or race suits are not permitted, as they do not meet karting safety standards.
Payment & Booking Policy
Full payment is required at the time of booking. AR Kartz operates a cashless payment system—only card payments are accepted. Bookings can be changed to another date or time with at least 24 hours' notice.
Cancellation Policy
Once a booking is made, the karts are reserved exclusively for your session. Cancellations must be made with at least 24 hours' notice to comply with our cancellation policy.
Behaviour & Conduct
AR Kartz reserves the right to remove any participant from an event if their behaviour is deemed unsafe, violent, disruptive, or likely to cause distress or damage. No refunds or compensation will be provided. Alcohol, drugs, or any intoxicating substances are strictly prohibited. If a participant is suspected of being under the influence, they will be barred from racing without a refund, in line with karting rules.
Health & Safety
Karting is not recommended for individuals with heart conditions, epilepsy, pregnancy, or other conditions that may be affected by exertion. Due to kart size limitations, the maximum weight is 115kg. Under no circumstances are alcohol, drugs, or intoxicating substances allowed on the premises, ensuring compliance with our safety requirements.
